Connect Temporal Cloud

Temporal Cloud is a managed durable execution platform for building reliable, scalable distributed applications and workflows. The Temporal Cloud integration imports your usage data into DoiT Cloud Intelligence so you can analyze Temporal consumption in Cloud Analytics.

Prerequisites

• A Temporal Cloud account with access to create service accounts.
• A DoiT account with the Billing Profiles Admin permission.

Required credentials

Field	Description	Where to find it
Account Identifier	A unique name to identify this Temporal Cloud account in DoiT	You choose this name
Service Account API Key	API key for a service account with Finance Admin role	Temporal Cloud → Settings → Identities → create a service account → create an API key

Create a service account API key

1. Sign in to Temporal Cloud.

2. Navigate to Settings → Identities.

3. Create a new service account and assign the Finance Admin role.

4. Create an API key for the service account and copy it.

   注意

   The API key is only shown once. Make sure to copy it before closing the dialog.

Connect your Temporal Cloud account

1. Sign in to DoiT Cloud Intelligence, navigate to Data ingestion and integrations → Assets.

2. Select Temporal Cloud from the left-hand menu, and then select Connect new account.

3. Enter your Account Identifier and Service Account API Key.

4. Select Test connection to verify DoiT can access your Temporal data.

5. If the test is successful, select Save to complete the setup.

   If the test fails or you need further assistance, please open an expert inquiry.

注意

Upon initial connection, DoiT ingests up to 90 days of historical usage data. The import process can take a few hours. You'll receive an email when the data is available in Cloud Analytics.

Data refresh

DoiT refreshes your Temporal Cloud data every 6 hours. Data typically becomes available within 24–26 hours of being generated by Temporal.

Reporting dimensions

Once connected, Temporal Cloud data maps to the following standard Cloud Analytics dimensions:

Delete your Temporal Cloud connection

1. Sign in to DoiT Cloud Intelligence, navigate to Data ingestion and integrations → Assets.

2. Select Temporal Cloud from the left-hand menu.

3. Select the three dots menu (⋮) at the rightmost end of the account you want to remove and select Delete.

4. Select Delete to confirm.
