Feature support by cloud provider

Cloud Intelligence™ ingests billing data from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and accepts any other cost, usage, or business data through DataHub. Core FinOps capabilities such as reports, budgets, alerts, and allocations work the same way on every source. Features that act on your cloud environment, or that depend on provider-specific APIs, vary by provider.

This page summarizes what is available for each source. Feature availability also depends on your Cloud Intelligence plan; this page only compares providers within a plan.

Legend: ✓ available, — not available, N/A does not apply to the source (for example, the provider offers no such API).

DataHub notes

  • DataHub is a data path, not a cloud provider. Use it to bring in any cost, usage, savings, or business-metric data, including data from clouds and SaaS platforms that have no native integration.

  • DataHub data is kept separate from cloud billing data. Reports, budgets, and alerts include it only when you select Include DataHub data. Amounts are treated as US dollars and are not currency converted.

  • Features that act on cloud resources or read provider APIs (Insights, Cloud Diagrams, anomaly detection, Commitment Manager, Flexsave, PerfectScale, quota monitoring) do not apply to DataHub data. Manage what you ingested through datasets.
