OCI Intelligence

OCI Intelligence in the DoiT console helps you understand your Oracle Cloud Infrastructure costs and maximize the value of your OCI investments. The dashboard analyzes cost patterns, tracks data trends, identifies resource utilization, and highlights key cost drivers, helping you optimize performance and spend.

OCI Intelligence dashboard​

The OCI Intelligence dashboard consists of report widgets that highlight various aspects of your OCI spend. It is automatically populated when OCI workloads are detected in your DoiT account.

To access the OCI Intelligence dashboard, select Dashboards > OCI Intelligence from the top navigation mega menu.

Widgets on the dashboard are updated independently of each other. See Refresh report data for more information.

You can Open full report to check the report configuration or customize the preset report to create your own one.

Oracle Spend History​

Oracle spend history.

Report configuration:

  • Metrics: Cost
  • Time Range: Last 12 months (include current month)
  • Time Interval: Month
  • Filter results: Provider is Oracle Cloud
  • Forecast settings:
    • Historical data time range: Last 12 months
    • Forecast horizon: Next 6 months
    • Granularity: Forecast totals only

Cost by Service​

OCI - Cost by service.

Report configuration:

  • Metrics: Cost
  • Time Range: Last 6 months (include current month)
  • Time Interval: Month
  • Filter results: Provider is Oracle Cloud
  • Group by: Service

Service Costs​

OCI - Service cost.

Report configuration:

  • Metrics: Cost
  • Time Range: Last 6 months (include current month)
  • Time Interval: Month
  • Filter results: Provider is Oracle Cloud
  • Group by: Service ID

Service Usage​

OCI - Service usage.

Report configuration:

  • Metrics: Usage (see also UsageQuantity)
  • Time Range: Last 6 months (include current month)
  • Time Interval: Month

Cost by Compartments​
