Connect Infobip

Infobip is a global cloud communications platform offering omnichannel engagement across SMS, WhatsApp, Voice, Email, and other channels. The Infobip integration imports your daily usage and cost data into Cloud Intelligence™ so you can analyze your communications spend in Cloud Analytics.

Prerequisites

• An Infobip account with access to API key management in Developer Tools > API Keys.
• Your Infobip dedicated API domain (base URL), found on your Infobip homepage or account settings (format: xxxxx.api.infobip.com).
• A DoiT account with the Billing Profiles Admin permission.

Required credentials

Required API key scopes

Your Infobip API key must carry both of the following scopes:

1. billing:usage:view: Required by DoiT's daily ingestion pipeline to query billing usage (POST /billing/1/usage/query).
2. Account Management scope (balance read): Required by the onboarding connection test (GET /account/1/balance).

Because Infobip enforces strict scope separation, an API key with only the balance scope will pass the connection test but fail daily billing ingestion with a 403 Forbidden error. An API key with only billing:usage:view will fail the onboarding connection test. Ensure both scopes are granted when generating the key.

Create an API key

1. Sign in to the Infobip Portal.

2. Navigate to Developer Tools > API Keys.

3. Select Create API Key and give it a name (e.g., doit-cloud-intelligence).

4. Under permissions / scopes, grant:

   • billing:usage:view (under Billing)
   • Account balance read access (under Account Management)

5. Generate and copy the API Key.

   Caution

   The secret key is only displayed upon creation. Copy and store it securely.

Connect your Infobip account

1. Sign in to Cloud Intelligence, select Data ingestion and integrations > Integrations from the top navigation mega menu.

2. Search for Infobip in the integrations catalog.

3. Select Connect + on the integration card.

4. Enter your Account Name / Identifier, API Base URL / Domain (e.g., synthtenant1.api.infobip.com), and paste your API Key.

5. Select Test connection to verify DoiT can connect to your Infobip account.

6. If the test is successful, select Save to complete the setup.

   If the test fails or you need further assistance, please open an expert inquiry.

Note

• One connection per company: Connect only once per Infobip company. The Infobip billing API returns company-wide usage across all accounts and sub-accounts under that company; connecting multiple accounts will duplicate costs.
• Initial backfill: Upon initial connection, DoiT imports historical usage data for the last 60 days (within Infobip's 3-month rolling history window). The import process can take some time. You'll receive an email when the data is available in Cloud Analytics.

Data refresh and unfinalized data

DoiT refreshes your Infobip usage data daily via an asynchronous billing query. Infobip marks usage in the current billing cycle as unfinalized until month-end reconciliation; DoiT queries with unfinalized data enabled so you have real-time visibility into current-month spend.
