Connect Anthropic (Analytics API)

Anthropic is the AI safety company behind Claude. The Anthropic Analytics API integration imports your organization's Claude usage and cost data into DoiT Cloud Intelligence so you can analyze AI spend across surfaces (claude.ai, Claude Code, API, and more) in Cloud Analytics.

Note

Cost and usage data is only available for usage-based Enterprise plans. Seat-based plans will see data for additional usage charges only.

Prerequisites

• An Anthropic Claude Enterprise account with Primary Owner access.

• A DoiT account with the Billing Profiles Admin permission.

Required credentials

Field	Description	Where to find it
Organization Label	A free-form slug that identifies this Anthropic organization in DoiT (e.g. my-org). Used to distinguish multiple connections.	Choose any stable identifier — it is not validated against Anthropic

Generate an Analytics API key

1. Sign in to claude.ai as a Primary Owner of your Enterprise organization.

2. Navigate to Analytics > API keys.

3. Toggle the Access switch under Analytics API to enable it.

4. Select + Create key to generate a new key.

5. Copy the key immediately — it is only shown once.

   Caution

   Treat the API key like a password. Anyone with the key can read your organization's analytics data.

Connect your Anthropic account

1. Sign in to DoiT Cloud Intelligence, select Data ingestion and integrations > Integrations from the top navigation mega menu.

2. Search for Anthropic in the integrations catalog.

3. Select Connect + on the integration card.

4. Enter the credentials you gathered:

   • Organization Label — a stable slug to identify this connection (e.g. my-org).
   • Analytics API Key — the key you generated at claude.ai/analytics/api-keys.

5. Select Test connection to verify DoiT can access your data.

6. If the test is successful, select Save to complete the setup.

   If the test fails or you need further assistance, please open an expert inquiry.

Note

Upon initial connection, DoiT ingests up to 120 days of historical usage and cost data. The import process can take a few hours. You'll receive an email when the data is available in Cloud Analytics.

Data refresh

DoiT refreshes your Anthropic data every 6 hours. Cost and usage data is typically available within 24 hours; engagement metrics (active users, project usage, skills) are aggregated daily and available for dates at least 3 days in the past.

Reporting dimensions

Once connected, Anthropic data maps to the following standard Cloud Analytics dimensions:

In addition to standard dimensions, the following Anthropic-specific labels are available:

Delete your Anthropic connection

1. Sign in to DoiT Cloud Intelligence, select Data ingestion and integrations > Integrations from the top navigation mega menu.

2. Search for Anthropic in the integrations catalog.

3. Select Manage on the integration card.

4. Select the kebab menu (⋮) at the rightmost end of the account you want to remove and select Delete.

5. Select Delete to confirm.
