Connect ChatGPT Enterprise

DoiT offers three ChatGPT Enterprise integrations that import data from OpenAI's Compliance API into Cloud Intelligence. Each integration is a separate connector card in the integrations catalog — you can connect one, two, or all three depending on the data you need.

Prerequisites

• A ChatGPT Enterprise plan.

• Admin access in the OpenAI Admin Console.

• A DoiT account with the Billing Profiles Admin permission.

Required credentials

All three connection types require an Admin API key created in the OpenAI Admin Console. Each type requires a different identifier and API key permission.

Create an Admin API key

1. Sign in to the OpenAI Admin Console.

2. Go to Credentials > Admin keys.

3. Select Create admin key and choose Custom permissions.

4. Enable the permission required for your connection type:

5. Copy the key immediately — it is shown only once.

   Caution

   Use an Admin key, not an API Platform project key. Treat the key like a password — anyone with it can read your organization's data.

Identifier

Each connection type requires an identifier that scopes the data:

Connect your ChatGPT Enterprise account

Repeat these steps for each connection type you want to set up.

1. Sign in to Cloud Intelligence, select Data ingestion and integrations > Integrations from the top navigation mega menu.

2. Search for the integration card by name: ChatGPT Enterprise Costs, ChatGPT Enterprise Workspace Analytics, or Codex Enterprise Analytics.

3. Select Connect + on the integration card.

4. Enter the identifier and Admin API key for the connection type.

5. Select Test connection to verify DoiT can access your data.

6. If the test is successful, select Save to complete the setup.

   If the test fails or you need further assistance, please open an expert inquiry.

Note

Upon initial connection, DoiT ingests up to 90 days of historical data. The import process can take a few hours.

Data refresh

DoiT refreshes your ChatGPT Enterprise data every 6 hours. Cost and usage data for a given day is typically available within 24–30 hours.

Note

Workspace Analytics is adoption data — cost is always zero and the GenAI Spend label is false. Use Cloud Analytics filters to separate Workspace Analytics rows from billing data.

Delete your ChatGPT Enterprise connection

1. Sign in to Cloud Intelligence, select Data ingestion and integrations > Integrations from the top navigation mega menu.

2. Search for the integration card you want to remove.

3. Select Manage on the integration card.

4. Select the kebab menu (⋮) at the rightmost end of the account you want to remove and select Delete.

5. Select Delete to confirm.
