Connect Cloudflare

Cloudflare is a global cloud platform providing CDN, security, and edge computing services. The Cloudflare integration imports your billing history and subscription data into DoiT Cloud Intelligence so you can analyze Cloudflare costs in Cloud Analytics.

Prerequisites

• A Cloudflare account with access to billing data.
• A DoiT account with the Billing Profiles Admin permission.

Required credentials

Create an API token

1. Sign in to the Cloudflare dashboard.

2. Navigate to your profile → API Tokens.

3. Select Create Token.

4. Under permissions, add Billing with Read access.

5. Select Continue to summary, then Create Token.

6. Copy the token.

   Caution

   The token is only shown once. Make sure to copy it before closing the page.

Connect your Cloudflare account

1. Sign in to DoiT Cloud Intelligence, navigate to Data ingestion and integrations → Assets.

2. Select Cloudflare from the left-hand menu, and then select Connect new account.

3. Enter your Account ID and API Token.

4. Select Test connection to verify DoiT can access your Cloudflare billing data.

5. If the test is successful, select Save to complete the setup.

   If the test fails or you need further assistance, please open an expert inquiry.

Note

Upon initial connection, DoiT ingests your billing history. The import process can take a few hours. You'll receive an email when the data is available in Cloud Analytics.

Data refresh

DoiT refreshes your Cloudflare billing data daily. Data typically becomes available within 48 hours of being generated by Cloudflare.

Reporting dimensions

Once connected, Cloudflare data maps to the following standard Cloud Analytics dimensions:

In addition to standard dimensions, the following Cloudflare-specific labels are available:

Zone	The Cloudflare zone (domain) associated with the charge

Plan	Rate plan name (for subscriptions)
Product	Product name (for subscriptions)

Delete your Cloudflare connection

1. Sign in to DoiT Cloud Intelligence, navigate to Data ingestion and integrations → Assets.

2. Select Cloudflare from the left-hand menu.

3. Select the three dots menu (⋮) at the rightmost end of the account you want to remove and select Delete.

4. Select Delete to confirm.
