Connect Anthropic

This page describes how to connect your Anthropic account to the DoiT console. Once connected, you can use your Anthropic usage and cost data within the DoiT console. See Working with GenAI data.

Create an API key

To enable DoiT to programmatically access Anthropic, you must provide an API key. This key is generated using the Anthropic dashboard.

1. Sign in to the Anthropic dashboard.

2. In Manage, select API keys.

3. Select + Create key. The Create API key pane is displayed.

4. Enter a name for your key and select Add. The API key is created.

5. Select Copy key to copy the API key.

   Caution

   The key is only visible once. Please ensure you copy the key before closing the browser window.

6. Select Close to close the Save your key pane.

7. Go to the DoiT console and in API key, paste the API key you created above.

   

8. Select Test connection. This should take a couple of seconds.

   Caution

   If test connection fails, we recommend that you open a support request.

9. When the test is successful, select Finish. After you successfully connected your Anthropic account, we start importing your Anthropic billing and usage data. The process can take a few hours. You'll receive an email when the data is available for Cloud Analytics and other DoiT features.
