Presentation mode

Overview​

Once you sign up with DoiT, before connecting your cloud account, you'll be in the Presentation mode when accessing the DoiT Console.

Presentation mode allows you to explore the key capabilities of the DoiT Console without importing your own data. For features that are available in the Presentation mode:

  • Features that work with cloud cost and usage data use anonymized data from a dedicated demo dataset. For example, Reports, Attributions, Attribution groups, Metrics, and Dashboards. You'll see a Demo data badge when accessing these features in the DoiT Console, as shown in the screenshot below.

  • Features that do not need billing data work the same as in the normal mode. For example, Billing profiles.

Limitations​

  • Some features that use demo data function in read-only mode, for example, the Dashboards. You cannot save changes made to such features.

  • Presentation mode is automatically turned off once you successfully connected your cloud account; you cannot access the demo data or switch back to the presentation mode on your own afterward.
