Subscribe to reports

You can set up a subscription for your reports to send an email or a Slack notification with a copy of your Cloud Analytics report to yourself or other colleagues.

Be aware that:

• You can't subscribe to preset and managed reports. You can duplicate the report, and then subscribe to the copy.

• Email notifications only support chart-based reports. If you subscribe to an unsupported report type, for example, a Table or a Heatmap report, you still receive the notification but the attached report will be a stacked column chart.

Subscribe to a report

1. Log in to the DoiT console, select Analytics from the top navigation bar, and then select Reports.

2. Select the report you want to subscribe to.

3. Select Subscribe and Create new subscription.

4. In the Report subscription, set up:

   • The email addresses from your organization and Slack channels you want to use for the subscription notification
   DoiT app for Slack

   If you want to use Slack to receive notifications, you need to install the DoiT app for Slack.

   • The time zone you want to use for the subscription notification

   • The subscription start date

   • The time you want to receive the subscription notification

   • The frequency for the subscription notification

   

5. Once you've finished setting up your subscription, select Save.

Edit a report subscription

1. Log in to the DoiT console, select Analytics from the top navigation bar, and then select Reports.

2. Select a report to edit its subscription.

3. Select Subscribe and then Edit .

4. Make the changes you need to the subscription, and select Update.

Unsubscribe from a report subscription

To stop receiving notifications for a subscription:

1. Log in to the DoiT console, select Analytics from the top navigation bar, and then select Reports.

2. Select the report you want to unsubscribe from.

3. Select Subscribe and then Subscribed .

You will no longer receive notifications for the report.

Delete a report subscription

You can only delete a subscription if you originally created it, or if you have the Admin role in your DoiT account. When you delete a subscription, it's removed from the DoiT console for everyone in your organization who was subscribed.

To delete a report subscription for everyone in your organization:

1. Log in to the DoiT console, select Analytics from the top navigation bar, and then select Reports.

2. Select the report for which you want to delete the subscription.

3. Select Subscribe and then Delete subscription.
