Manage account settings

Configure cloud providers, commitment types, and payer accounts on the Accounts Settings page.

Note

For recommendation and automation preferences for specific commitment types, see Configure commitment settings.

Required permissions

  • To view: PerfectScale Commitments Admin or PerfectScale Commitments Read Only permission.

  • To change settings: PerfectScale Commitments Admin permission.

Access Accounts Settings

  1. In the DoiT console, open Rate optimization > PerfectScale for Commitments.

  2. Select Accounts Settings from the sidebar Account dropdown, or from the Accounts Overview or Settings tab.

  • Cloud selection: Use Select services to enable or disable commitment categories per provider. Onboarded categories cannot be disabled until you remove them from your configuration.

  • Payer accounts: Set a Commitments purchasing account for each AWS payer account. New Savings Plan steps purchase into that linked account. To add payer accounts or grant permissions, see Set up PerfectScale for Commitments.

  • Notification settings: Configure alerts on the Notifications page. See Create and manage notifications.

Select Save changes to apply updates. Changes to enabled categories or accounts recalculate recommendations and the purchase ladder for the affected categories.
