To onboard additional accounts or enable more commitment types:

  1. Select Add new accounts in the page header.

  2. In the Onboard new account dialog, review the billing disclaimer, then select Continue.

You are redirected to the onboarding wizard. For the full setup flow, see Set up PerfectScale for Commitments.

Payer and billing accounts

The Payer/Billing accounts section lists only accounts that are already onboarded. Each row shows the account name, ID, enabled commitment type icons, a link to Cloud Connect configuration, and a health-check status icon.

AWS payer accounts

AWS payer accounts appear in an expandable list. Expand a payer account to view its linked child accounts and their permission status.

Below the linked accounts, select a Commitments purchasing account for each payer. PerfectScale for Commitments buys new Savings Plans through this linked account. You can select the payer account itself as the purchasing account.

Google Cloud billing accounts

Google Cloud billing accounts appear as flat rows with their enabled commitment types.

Spend-based CUD purchases are made at the billing account level. No project-level purchasing configuration is required. Discounts apply across all projects linked to the billing account through CUD attribution sharing.

If your organization's Cloud Connect connection has only read access, an informational alert states that write access is missing and CUD purchasing is disabled until you configure write access. A dismissible info alert also explains billing-account-level CUD purchasing.

Notification settings

The Notification Settings section links to your organization's notification preferences in the DoiT console. PerfectScale for Commitments notifications are enabled by default. You are notified when purchases need approval and each time PerfectScale completes a commitment purchase.

Select Configure to open notification settings if you want to change these preferences.

Save changes

After you update settings on this page, select Save changes at the bottom to apply them. Saving can trigger a recalculation of recommendations and purchase ladders for the affected accounts.
