Enable Composer

To enable the Composer feature, you need to grant the required permissions for each cloud provider.

Enablement instructions

  • Amazon Web Services: The Composer feature is available per AWS account. You can enable the feature when linking a new account or editing an existing one. See Link AWS accounts for step-by-step instructions.

  • Azure: Permissions for Composer are configured at the tenant level. See Connect Azure tenants for setup details.

  • Google Cloud: The Composer feature is available at the project level. You can enable the feature when connecting a new project or editing an existing one. See Connect a Google Cloud project for details.

After you enable Composer

Enabling Composer permissions does not immediately populate your resources in Composer queries or Insights findings. For AWS accounts, resources typically appear within 30 to 90 minutes, though highly populated accounts or specific scan schedules can extend this window up to 2 hours.

To accelerate this process, you can open Account scan status and run a scan manually. If your data fails to appear after two hours, we recommend verifying your permissions and Cloud Connect onboarding configuration rather than waiting for another automated cycle.
