My usage

The My usage dashboard gives you a personal view of your AI spend and token consumption across all connected GenAI providers. Unlike the other AI Hub pages, which cover your whole organization, this page shows only the activity attributed to your signed-in identity, helping you understand your individual contribution to overall AI costs.

To open the My usage dashboard, go to Tokenomics > My usage in the AI Hub sidebar.

Domain-based access

My usage is available only when your email domain matches your organization's primary domain or one of its configured domains. If your domain does not match, the page does not appear in the AI Hub sidebar and cannot be accessed directly.

KPI cards

Four KPI cards appear at the top of the dashboard, summarizing your personal AI activity for the selected time range:

  • My spend: Your total AI spend for the current period, with a percentage comparison against the equivalent previous period.

  • Average daily spend: Your mean daily AI spend, calculated across the UTC calendar days in the selected period.

  • Top model: The AI model that accounts for the largest portion of your personal spend, along with its share percentage.

  • Token volume: Your total token consumption, broken down into input, output, and undirected tokens.

Cumulative spend

The Cumulative spend chart displays your running total of AI spend from the start of the selected period. A summary panel on the left shows the period label, total spend amount, and the date through which data is current.

Daily cost and model breakdown

Two visualizations appear side by side below the cumulative chart:

My daily cost

A stacked bar chart showing your daily AI spend across the selected period, grouped by model. The legend at the bottom lists each series with its provider logo.

Cost by model

A donut chart showing how your personal spend is distributed across AI models. The center of the donut displays your total spend. Each model appears in the legend with its share percentage and dollar amount.

When your data includes credits (negative values), the visualization switches to a horizontal bar chart so that both positive and negative amounts are visible.

Spend by source

The My spend by source table compares your current-period spend against the equivalent previous period for each source system. The table includes the following columns:

ColumnDescription
SourceThe source system that generated the spend.
Relative spendA horizontal bar showing the proportion of your total spend from this source.
This periodYour spend from this source in the current period.
Previous periodYour spend from this source in the equivalent prior period.
ChangeThe percentage change between periods. A negative change (cost decrease) appears in green. If there is no prior spend for that source, the column reads "No prior spend."

Time range

The My usage dashboard has no provider, model, or source filters; it always shows your complete personal usage. Use the Time range dropdown to choose the reporting period:

  • Month to date (default): Spend from the first of the current month through today.
  • Year to date: Spend from the start of the current year through today.
  • Last 30 days: A rolling 30-day window ending today.

If the selected time range is too large to load, the dashboard displays an error message and prompts you to choose a shorter time range. Select Reset to month to date to return to the default range.

Attribution and data freshness

When you have AI usage in the selected period, a timestamp at the bottom of the dashboard shows when your last personal usage occurred (labeled "Your last usage in this period"). Token totals include input, output, and undirected tokens. If you have no attributed usage in the selected period, the dashboard shows a message saying no AI usage is attributed to your email, and the timestamp does not appear.

Currency

My usage always shows amounts in US dollars, without conversion. The other AI Hub pages convert the same spend to your account's billing currency with the monthly exchange rates Cloud Analytics reports use. If your billing currency is USD, amounts on My usage and the other pages are directly comparable; otherwise, compare them only after converting.

How usage is attributed to you

My usage shows usage only when the provider reports a user email that matches the email you sign in to the DoiT console with. Providers that report user emails include Anthropic, Cursor, OpenAI, Databricks, and Snowflake.

The following usage doesn't appear on My usage, although it still counts toward your organization's totals on the other AI Hub pages:

  • Usage from shared or service API keys and service accounts that aren't tied to your email.
  • Usage the provider records under a different email, such as a personal address or an alias.
  • Usage from providers that don't report users, such as Google Cloud Vertex AI, GitHub Copilot, xAI, and OpenRouter.

There's no way to map other identities to your account on this page.

If your usage is missing

  1. Check that the provider shows the same email address you use to sign in to the DoiT console.
  2. On the Connectors page, check that the provider is connected and Healthy.
  3. Allow for data latency: recent usage can take a day or two to appear.
  4. Check the Time range. The default, Month to date, covers only a few days early in the month.
  5. On the Identity page, look for the identity your usage is recorded under, such as an API key or another email.

Limitations

  • Presentation mode: The My usage dashboard is not available in presentation mode. An informational message appears in place of the dashboard content.

  • Human identity required: You must be signed in with a personal account. Service accounts and shared identities cannot access personal usage data.

  • Rate limiting: If too many requests are made in a short period, the dashboard displays a rate-limit notice with a countdown timer before you can retry.

  • Query budget: If the selected date range covers too much data, the server returns a budget-exceeded error. Choose a shorter time range or reset to month to date.
