Manage default email CCs

To increase visibility of inquiries, you can configure a list of default emails to copy in (CC) when new inquiries are created.

Required Permission
  • Billing Profile Admin

Email addresses in the default CC list must belong to an allowed domain. Allowed domains include:

  • Your organization's own email domain(s)
  • DoiT domains
  • Cloud vendor domains (Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Ingram)

If you enter an email address from a domain that is not allowed, the console displays an error and the address is not added. Previously saved addresses that no longer belong to an allowed domain are omitted from each new inquiry, and a warning is displayed. They stay in this list until you remove them and save.

To edit the list of default email addresses:

  1. Sign in to the DoiT console, select Get expert advice from the top navigation mega menu, and then select View all expert inquiries. You'll see a complete list of all your inquiries.

  2. Select the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select Manage Default Emails List.

    The Consulting and support page

  3. Update the list of email addresses. A hint below the input field indicates which domains are allowed. Remove any addresses that no longer belong to an allowed domain.

  4. Save your changes.

Tip

To copy in additional recipients on a specific inquiry, add additional CCs when creating a new expert inquiry or viewing a specific inquiry.
