Users and roles

Distributors and resellers can manage users of their downstream tenants.

Required permission​

  • Distributor/reseller: Your DoiT account must have the Admin role.

Invite a new user​

To invite a new user:

  1. Sign in to the DoiT console.

  2. Select Customers from the top navigation bar.

  3. Locate the customer of interest, select the customer name to open its details page, or select the kebab menu (â‹®) at the rightmost end of the entry and then select Manage users and permissions.

  4. On the Users and roles tab, select Invite new user.

  5. Fill in the required information of the new user, including email, role, first and last name, and job function.

  6. Select Invite. The invited user will receive an email to activate the account in the DoiT console.

Manage users​

To edit or delete a user:

  1. Select Customers from the top navigation bar.

  2. Navigate to the Users and roles tab of the target customer.

  3. Locate the user of interest.

  4. Select the kebab menu (â‹®) at the rightmost end of the entry, and then choose an action:

    • Edit: To update the user information. Select Save changes when you finished editing.

    • Delete: To delete the user. You'll be prompted to confirm the deletion before it's executed.
