Compliance view

The Compliance view shows how your accounts map to compliance frameworks such as CIS or AWS Well-Architected. Use it to prioritize frameworks with the lowest compliance rates.

This view is available only when the Compliance category is selected. The other insights categories do not have a framework view.

Switch to the Compliance view

On the Insights dashboard, select Compliance in the sidebar, then select Compliance view using the view toggle button.

Cards are listed by Compliance rate in ascending order so the least-compliant frameworks appear first. You cannot filter or sort the cards. Use pagination to browse frameworks. Results are filtered by the accounts selected under Insights scope; if no accounts are selected, results from all connected accounts are included.

Each card includes:

  • Framework name: The name of the compliance framework. Long names are truncated.

  • Failed: The number of active (non-compliant) results for the framework.

  • Passed: The number of resolved (compliant) results for the framework.

  • Compliance rate: The percentage of results that are compliant, displayed as a color-coded progress bar:

    • Green: 80% or higher
    • Orange: 50% to 79%
    • Red: below 50%

While the Compliance category remains selected, you can still switch to the Insights view or Resources view.

Download a compliance report

You can download a snapshot of your current compliance state as a PDF or CSV file. The Download Report button appears whenever the Compliance category is selected, regardless of which view you are on (Insights view, Resources view, or Compliance view).

To download a report:

  1. Select Download Report.

  2. In Download Compliance Report, configure the report scope:

    • Accounts: Select one or more accounts to include. The list pre-fills with the accounts currently selected under Insights scope. Leave the selection empty to include all accounts.

    • Severities: Select one or more severity levels to filter by (Critical, High, Medium, or Low). Leave the selection empty to include all severities.

  3. Under Output type, choose PDF or CSV.

  4. Select Download PDF or Download CSV.

The file downloads directly to your browser. If the download fails, an error message appears in the dialog and you can try again.

Framework details

Select a framework card to open that framework's details or, in the Insights view Compliance frameworks column, select a framework chip, or a framework name in +N more.

A breadcrumb trail at the top of the page lets you navigate back to the Insights dashboard or to the Compliance category.

Overview

The Overview tab displays the same coverage charts as the Insights dashboard Overview, scoped to the selected framework:

  • Insights coverage: The percentage of the framework's insights that have been evaluated, with a breakdown by status: Failed, Passed, and Dismissed.

  • Resolution rate: The percentage of resource issues resolved for this framework's insights, with a breakdown by status.

注意

On this page, the standard Active and Resolved labels are displayed as Failed and Passed. The Highlights and Historical data tabs are not available.

Framework results

Below the overview metrics, a table lists all insights linked to the selected framework, including insights that have never been triggered.

Use the tabs above the table to filter insights by status. Each tab label includes the count of matching insights:

  • Failed: Insights with active (non-compliant) results. This is the default tab.

  • Passed: Insights where all results are resolved (compliant), including insights that have never been triggered.

  • Dismissed: Insights that have been dismissed.

  • All: All insights regardless of status.

Switching tabs resets the table to page 1.

The table displays the following columns:

  • Cloud: The cloud provider icon for the insight.

  • Insight: The insight name. Select the name to open the insight details page.

  • Resource type: The type of cloud resource affected by the insight.

  • Status: The compliance status of the insight: Failed, Passed, or Dismissed.

  • Severity: The severity level of the insight: Critical, High, Medium, or Low.

  • Resources: Color-coded counters showing the number of active, resolved, and snoozed resources for the insight. This column cannot be sorted.

You can sort the table by selecting any sortable column header. By default, the table sorts by Severity in descending order. Select the editor icon next to the filter bar to show or hide columns.

Use the filter bar to narrow results by Cloud, Insight, Resource type, or Severity.
