Select allowed auth provider

By default, users can sign in to the DoiT Console with either Google Workspace accounts or Microsoft Office 365 accounts.

To restrict which auth providers have access to your tenants or allow users to sign in with email and password:

  1. Log in to the DoiT Console, select the gear icon () from the top navigation bar, and then select Identity & access.

  2. Select Settings from the left-hand menu.

  3. Choose from the Select allowed auth provider section:

    • Allow all (default): Allows users to sign in with all the supported approaches.

    • Email and password: Allows users to sign in using email and password.

    • Google: Only allows users to sign in with Google Workspace accounts.

    • Microsoft: Only allows users to sign in with Microsoft Office 365 accounts.

  4. Save your changes.

Auto provisioning

Auto provisioning is an automated process that can speed up the granting of user access. If enabled, users with an email address from your organization's domain can sign up without being invited. They will be granted the default role of your organization on their first login.

Note

As of November 25, 2022, auto provisioning is disabled by default when setting up auth provider settings.

If you've set up auth provider settings before this date, existing users who already signed up are not affected and retain their roles and permissions in the DoiT Platform, while new users have to be invited.

To enable auto provisioning:

  1. Select Settings on the Identity & access page.

  2. Use the toggle button to turn on auto provisioning.

  3. (Optional) Specify which domains allow auto provisioning by adding them to your tenant allowlist.

  4. Save your changes.
