For more information on reviewing artifacts and managing artifact options, see Artifacts.
Upload a new artifact version
You can upload a new version of an existing artifact from the artifact detail panel. Each new version creates an immutable record that supersedes the previous version, while all prior versions are preserved in the version history.
To upload a new artifact version:
-
Open the artifact in the artifact detail panel.
-
Select the options menu and choose Upload new version.
-
In the upload dialog, drag and drop or browse to select a single supported document or image file.
-
Select Update artifact to start the upload. The new version starts AI assessment automatically after upload.
If the artifact you select has an Approved status, uploading a new version resets the artifact's status to Awaiting approval and triggers a new AI assessment.
After a successful upload, the artifact library and version history refresh to display the new version.
AI assessments
The MSP workspace uses AI to assess artifacts against the acceptance criteria of the relevant evidence task and control.
AI assessments trigger automatically when you upload artifacts to an evidence task (using the evidence task detail side panel or the artifact side panel).
The system first updates task-level assessment results based on the artifact assessments, and then updates the control-level assessment results based on the tasks within that control.
Assessment results refresh automatically across the workspace after each upload. The results include a confidence score (High confidence, Low confidence) for each artifact, indicating the AI's certainty in its evaluation; a human reviewer still needs to make the final approval decision through the review artifacts workflow.
