  • Access to automated insights requires an Enhanced or Enterprise DoiT Cloud Intelligence plan.

Automated insights

This section explains the requirements to have different insights in the DoiT console, according to the insights sources.

AWS billing data-based insights

AWS billing data-based insights are available once you connect your AWS accounts. No extra permissions required.

AWS Trusted Advisor insights

To enable AWS Trusted Advisor insights:

  1. Make sure your AWS accounts have an AWS Business, Enterprise On-Ramp, or Enterprise Support plan.

  2. In the DoiT console, add the Trusted Advisor insights feature when you link AWS accounts.

AWS Cost Optimization Hub insights

      • Currently, DoiT Insights doesn't support negotiated pricing for cost savings recommendations.

  2. Go to the BigQuery page to verify that insights and recommendations data have been exported. (See View tables for a transfer.)

  3. In the DoiT console, add the Insights from GCP Recommender BigQuery export feature when you connect the BigQuery dataset.
