Commitment Simulator
DoiT Commitment Simulator is a rate optimization capability that helps you plan usage based cloud commitments within AWS and Google Cloud. It analyzes real usage patterns to surface optimization opportunities, compares commitment options by scope and term, and provides clear visibility into coverage and utilization so you can reduce waste while avoiding over commitment.
Choosing how much to commit is the hardest part of purchasing a Savings Plan or Committed Use Discount (CUD) —commit too little and savings are left on the table; commit too much and unused capacity is still charged. Commitment Simulator removes that guesswork by simulating every possible commitment and showing the full trade-off between savings and risk.
