Distributor accounts

Distributor accounts are provisioned by DoiT.

The following tasks are performed by DoiT:

  1. Create the distributor account and define organization metadata such as name, region, and the default billing currency (USD).

  2. Set up one or more admin accounts for the distributor.

By distributor​

The invited Admin user will receive a welcome email with an activation link to set credentials. Once the account has been activated, the distributor Admin user can sign in to the DoiT console and create a base contract.

A base contract typically serves the following purposes:

  • Removing distributor discounts from CUR files.

  • Including AWS Private Pricing Addendum (PPA) or other pricing terms generated from AWS list rates with distributor-level adjustments.

After the base contract is finalized, the distributor can start onboarding resellers and end customers.
