Linode Integration
Linode (an Akamai company) is a cloud computing platform providing virtual machines, managed Kubernetes, object storage, and more. The Linode integration imports your cost data into the Attribute platform for a consolidated cost view and complete cost attribution.
Create a personal access token
To connect an Akamai Cloud (Linode) account with the Attribute platform, you need an API token with Read Only access to the account's billing and resources.
Create the token as a user without per-resource grants (not a restricted user), so it can read every cluster and Linode.
-
Sign in to Akamai Cloud Manager.
-
Navigate to your profile > API Tokens.
-
Select Create a Personal Access Token.
-
Set all scopes to Read Only (except VPCs: set to No Access).
-
Set expiry to Never for uninterrupted data collection.
-
Copy the token.
Connect a Linode account
To connect a Linode account:
-
Sign in to the Attribute platform.
-
Select Setup at the bottom of the navigation pane, then select Integrations.
-
On the Providers tab, find Akamai Cloud (Linode), select Connect, or select Manage then select Create new.

-
Enter a label to identify the account, or leave it empty to use the Linode account ID.
-
Enter your personal access token created in the previous step.
-
Select Test connection to verify that Attribute can access your Linode billing and inventory data.
-
Select Validate and connect to complete the setup.
Manage Linode connections
To manage the connected Linode accounts:
-
Navigate to Setup > Integrations, find Akamai Cloud (Linode) on the Providers tab, and then select Manage.
-
Locate the Linode account of interest, select the kebab menu (⋮) and choose the action to take.

You can choose to Edit label, Test connection, Pause, or Delete the connection.
