AWS asset names are listed on the main Assets page. If you choose the dimension Project/Account ID in Cloud Analytics reports, you'll see the AWS asset names in parentheses.

Change AWS asset names

The way to change an AWS asset name varies with your account type:

• If you're on a dedicated resold account, your asset names are defined by the AWS account names. To change the name of an AWS asset, use your root user credentials to sign in to the AWS account that you want to modify and follow the instructions at AWS Knowledge Center.

• If you're on a consolidated resold account, you need to update the Account Name in CloudHealth or open a support request to ask the DoiT support team to update it for you.

Once the account name is changed, it takes up to one hour for the DoiT console to update the asset name.
