DoiT no longer offers Flexsave for Google Cloud. Please take a moment to review the Flexsave for Google Cloud Sunset FAQ that we have prepared to address the most common questions you might have.

Required permissions

To subscribe to Flexsave, you need the Billing Account Administrator role of your Cloud Billing account.

Note

If you have more than one Google Cloud Billing account, make sure to subscribe separately for each billing account that you want to have Flexsave.

Step 1. Subscribe to Flexsave

  1. Open the Flexsave Marketplace listing.

  2. Select SUBSCRIBE.

  3. Select a project in your organization.

    You can choose any project. Flexsave leverages discount sharing to monitor your resource utilization across projects that share the same Cloud Billing account.

  4. Enter your order summary.

    1. Review your plan.

    2. Under Purchase details, select your billing account from the drop-down list.

    3. Review and accept the terms, and then select SUBSCRIBE.

Step 2. Activate your subscription

To activate your Flexsave subscription, you need to sign up with DoiT.

Note

Google Cloud Marketplace uses pop-ups for the sign-up process. Make sure that your browser allows pop-ups from the website address http://console.cloud.google.com/.

  1. Select Sign up with DoiT International.

  2. Follow the instructions to complete the sign-up.

Step 3. Verify your purchase

To verify that you've successfully activated Flexsave, check the following:

  • The Flexsave Marketplace listing page displays a green check with a text message showing the purchase date.

  • The status of your order for the DoiT Flexsave product is Active on the Google Cloud Marketplace's Your Orders page.

  • The DoiT console displays a confirmation message:

Troubleshooting

My order remains "pending"

To activate your Flexsave subscription, you need to sign up with DoiT:

  1. Go to Google Cloud Marketplace.

  2. Select Your orders.

  3. Locate the DoiT Flexsave order, select the three vertical dots menu () at the rightmost end, and then select Sign up with DoiT International.

Once you complete the sign-up, the status of your order will change to Active within minutes.

"No tenant found" when trying to activate Flexsave

If you're already a DoiT customer, to complete the sign-up process, make sure that:

  • Your Google Cloud account has Billing Account Administrator role.

  • Your DoiT Console account has Flexsave Admin permission.

  • The email address of your Google Cloud account is the same as the one of your DoiT Console account.

In case of an email address mismatch, for example, your business email domain has changed, you're likely to get a no tenant found for {your_email_address} error.
