DoiT Cloud Intelligence™ (DCI) Enterprise customers get access to functionality of the DCI Platform, as further described herein.

Overview of the Platform

DoiT Cloud Intelligence™ is a SaaS platform that combines cloud‑billing normalisation, data enrichment, insights, automated workflows and workload‑specific intelligence designed to help organisations manage cloud costs and improve operations across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure and SaaS products. The Enterprise plan provides comprehensive access to cost reporting, unit economics, anomaly detection, automation via no‑code workflows, budget management, allocations, forecasts, and advanced workload‑specific dashboards. DCI Enterprise supports multi‑organisation environments, unlimited data retention, single sign‑on (SAML/OIDC), integration with collaborative applications such as Slack and Microsoft Teams, API for integrations, and native connectors for services such as Databricks, Datadog, Snowflake, MongoDB, OpenAI, Anthropic and Wiz.

Core Analytics and Reporting

Cloud Analytics

  • Single source of truth for cloud billing – Cloud Analytics ingests billing data from AWS, GCP and Azure, normalises usage, enriches it with business context and allows exploration from high‑level trends to line‑item details. The platform supports automated data ingestion, pre‑built dashboards, deep filtering (without SQL), dynamic drill‑downs and real‑time anomaly investigation. Reports can include billing data, Kubernetes utilisation, and various external business metrics (via DataHub).

  • Pre‑set and custom reports – The Enterprise plan includes pre‑set dashboards such as Executive Pulse, AWS/Google/Azure Intelligence and user‑defined custom dashboards. Reports and templates are available with unlimited retention, and customers can subscribe to daily, weekly or monthly digests. All reports support granular filters and grouping, and they can be shared with team members. DCI Enterprise includes API access to export report data.

Allocations

  • Custom cost attribution – Allocations map spend to relevant business units, applications or projects. Users define allocation rules to group resources by dimensions, labels or tags; these groupings can be single‑rule or group allocations. Allocations drive chargebacks, budget scoping and anomaly monitoring. A group allocation consistently includes an “unallocated” rule to capture untagged spend. Allocations integrate with Budgets, Alerts, Analytics and DataHub across all clouds.

Budgets and Forecasting

  • Dynamic budgets – Budgets let customers define recurring or fixed budgets aligned to their organisational or financial structure. Users may take customized actions such as set budget amounts as fixed values, apply dynamic adjustments with surplus rollover, or configure each period independently. Budgets deliver alerts when actual spend exceeds defined thresholds and can be subscribed to by multiple users. They support labels for categorisation and integrate with Cloud Analytics for deep investigation.

  • AI‑based forecasting – DCI Enterprise includes AI‑based forecasting that predicts future spend by analysing historical trends and usage patterns. Forecasts are accessible in reports and budgets, enabling proactive decision‑making.

Real‑Time Anomaly Detection

  • Near real‑time cost monitoring – DoiT’s Real‑Time Anomaly Detection monitors cost spikes on cloud workloads using data points such as estimated on‑demand costs based on real‑time usage data. The feature is available for select AWS and GCP services and alerts customers within minutes when unexpected spend occurs. Anomalies are enriched with context, severity scores and resource breakdowns on the platform’s monitoring page (as described on the main product site) so teams can investigate and remediate quickly.

Insight Generation and Recommendations

Insights Service

  • Unified recommendation engine – DoiT Insights aggregates recommendations from cloud providers (AWS Cost Optimization Hub, Trusted Advisor, Security Hub, Google Cloud Recommender, Azure Advisor) and third‑party platforms such as Wiz. It also leverages DoiT’s own billing and usage data to create automated insights. Insights are categorised into FinOps, Security, Performance Efficiency, Reliability, Sustainability and Operational Excellence. Custom insights curated by DoiT experts complement automated insights.

  • Actionable insights dashboard – The Insights dashboard shows top recommendations requiring immediate attention, provides insights coverage metrics, allows filtering by status/priority/provider and tracks insight status (Actionable, Acknowledged, In Progress, Optimized, etc.). Each insight includes severity, impacted resources and estimated savings and can be assigned and discussed in Threads. Many can be sent to CloudFlow for automated remediation.

Automation and Operations

CloudFlow (No‑Code FinOps Automation)

  • Workflow automation – CloudFlow is a no‑code automation platform within DCI that is integrated with select cloud provider APIs. It allows customers to build workflows that automate repetitive tasks such as tagging resources, rightsizing workloads, shutting down idle resources, and implementing approval‑based deprovisioning. Users can trigger flows manually, on schedules or via events from DCI. CloudFlow includes prescriptive templates, run history, human‑in‑the‑loop customer approvals and notifications, and supports multi‑cloud environments. Common use cases include resource scheduling, automated tagging, executing FinOps recommendations, handling cost alerts and managing commitments.

  • API‑driven and secure – CloudFlow accesses select cloud provider APIs and DoiT APIs via managed connections. Security controls support least‑privilege access, and run histories support audit requirements.

Cloud Diagrams

  • Automated architecture diagrams – The Cloud Diagrams feature generates diagrams of each AWS account or GCP project, visualising resources, services and their connections. The tool offers benefits such as viewing entire infrastructure in one diagram, near real‑time updates, visibility into dependencies, network‑level views, links to objects across accounts/projects, the ability to track and compare changes over time, and combining elements to reduce clutter. Cloud Diagrams support a wide range of AWS and GCP services and help teams understand impact before making changes.

Threads and Collaboration

  • Threads (Jira/Slack integration) – DCI Enterprise includes DoiT Threads, which allow teams to collaborate on insights, assign tasks, and integrate with Jira or Slack for tracking remedial actions.

Alerts & Notifications

  • Alerts – Alerts enable monitoring of allocation budgets with notifications sent through email, Slack shared channels, Slack App, Microsoft Teams or webhooks.

DataHub and Custom Metrics

  • Ingest external cost and business data – DataHub allows customers to import third‑party cost, usage, savings and metric data via API or CSV upload. It unifies cost data across SaaS bills, operational expenses and revenue metrics to create a comprehensive cost control and attribution platform. DataHub supports defining and tracking unit economics (e.g., cost per transaction or customer) and provides flexible data ingestion and customizable cost attribution.

  • Use cases – Common use cases include granular cost analysis, streamlining data ingestion from external providers, consolidating third‑party cloud costs, tracking consumption for teams and performing unit economics analysis. DataHub is not intended for real‑time or high‑frequency data ingestion.

Ava – Agentic FinOps Assistant

  • Agentic FinOps assistant – Ava is an infrastructure‑aware FinOps assistant that provides natural‑language access to cost insights, unit economics and best‑practice recommendations. Ava combines cost data with infrastructure context, enabling developers and finance teams to ask complex questions and receive clear answers that consider dependencies, security and operational impact. Ava is designed to democratise FinOps expertise across the organisation; developers receive guidance in their workflow, finance teams receive technical context, and leadership gets high‑level summaries. The assistant can generate reports, explain anomalies and suggest remediation steps, and integrates with Cloud Diagrams and other platform features.

Workload Intelligence Modules

The platform includes several workload‑specific dashboards that combine service‑level cost/usage data with cloud‑billing data to deliver deep visibility and optimisation recommendations. Each module requires the Cloud Analytics User permission and is automatically populated once the data source is connected.

GenAI Intelligence (Generative AI Models)

  • Unified AI spend tracking – GenAI Intelligence centralises cost and usage metrics for AI model providers such as Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Microsoft Azure AI, Databricks, Anthropic and OpenAI. The module helps identify and track AI costs and usage in one lens. Dashboard widgets include spend history by provider (monthly AI expenditure by provider), cost by model family, cost by API key and token breakdown by model. Users can detect unexpected cost spikes, analyse token usage to justify spending and optimise prompts, and drill down by model, API key or project.

Kubernetes Intelligence

  • Cluster cost breakdown – Kubernetes Intelligence integrates Kubernetes utilisation data (collected by PerfectScale agents) with cloud billing data and breaks down EKS/GKE/self‑managed Kubernetes costs by pods, nodes, namespaces and other dimensions.

Data Cloud Intelligence

  • The platform provides cost visibility for data cloud technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake and BigQuery. This functionality lets customers monitor data spend alongside cloud providers and to analyze that data in analytics and dashboards.

Datadog Intelligence

  • Datadog cost and usage analysis – Datadog Intelligence lets customers monitor Datadog spend alongside cloud providers. Some limitations may occur when Datadog is purchased through a cloud marketplace due to vendor API limitations.

MongoDB Intelligence

  • Atlas cost and usage dashboards – MongoDB Intelligence helps organisations visualise MongoDB Atlas cost and usage and decide how to optimise costs or monitor performance. The module includes widgets showing total organisation costs, total usage, monthly project costs, current‑month project cost distribution and SKU‑level costs. These reports allow the customer to highlight trends, identify unexpected spikes and support granular cost management.

Data Security and Compliance

DoiT Cloud Intelligence meets industry standard security, including SOC 2 Type II, SOC 3 and ISO 27001, see https://trust.doit.com/. DCI Enterprise provides unlimited data retention, multi‑organisation support, and ensures secure handling of billing and usage data. Customers can use SSO, IAM roles and fine‑grained permissions (e.g., Insights Manager, CloudFlow permissions) to control access. Data is retained in the original time zones to enable accurate reconciliation and may be aggregated to maintain performance in connection with large data sets.

Support & Services, Service Level Agreements

DCI Enterprise includes human support for FinOps tickets, invoice and finance support, and access to named Cloud Success Managers (CSMs) and Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs). Support channels include email, Slack, and Zendesk; Ava is also available within support flows for cost insights and report creation.
