Exporting AWS Assets

You can quickly and easily export your AWS assets to a CSV or Google Sheet file for easier analysis. Using a spreadsheet you can filter or sort your data, depending on your requirements. For example, you can combine assets and buckets together for better analysis.

Required permission​

To download your AWS assets to a CSV or Google Sheet file, your DoiT account needs the Cloud Analytics permission.

Export your AWS assets​

To export your AWS assets:

  1. Sign in to the DoiT console, select Billing from the top navigation bar, and then select Assets.

  2. In Assets, select Amazon Web Services.

  3. Select the kebab menu next to Amazon Web Services.

  4. You can select either:

    • Download as CSV: exports the AWS assets you see in the DoiT Console to CSV.
    • Export to Google Sheet: exports the AWS assets to a Google Sheet. If this is your first time exporting to Google Sheets, you may be asked to grant DoiT permission to create Google Drive files.
