PerfectScale for Commitments - Service Description
PerfectScale for Commitments (PS4C from now on) helps FinOps and platform teams maximize cloud savings by intelligently managing Savings Plans and other cloud commitments. It continuously analyzes usage, recommends the right commitment level per the customers’ defined commitment policy, and gives teams clear visibility into coverage, utilization, inventory, potential savings, and purchase activity, all in one place.
Instead of relying on manual analysis and static decisions, teams can use PS4C to make commitment management more proactive, accurate, and scalable.
If desired by the client, PS4C can be completely autonomous, managing the clients commitments without any human intervention.
The product is built to improve savings while keeping risk under control. With laddering-based purchasing and configurable guardrails such as commitment caps, preferred term, payment option, minimum purchase size, and approval workflows, teams can align purchases with their Commitment Strategy and adapt as cloud usage changes over time. The result is a more autonomous, data-driven and controlled way to increase savings, reduce waste, and manage cloud commitments with confidence.
