delete-alert

dci delete-alert <id>

Deletes the alert specified by the Id.

  • id — Alert ID as shown by dci list-alerts. Alert names resolve too (exact, unique substring, or close typo); the confirmation shows the resolved target.

Examples

# Preview what would be deleted, without sending a request.
dci delete-alert <alert-id> --dry-run
# Delete without a prompt, for scripts and CI (interactive terminals ask first).
dci delete-alert <alert-id> --yes
Exit code 0 and no output; `dci list-alerts` no longer lists the alert.

Output

On success, this command produces no response data.

Errors

On failure, dci prints a single error message — with a hint when one is available — and exits with a typed code your scripts can branch on. See Errors and exit codes for the full contract.
